Garrick Finished

Well, almost. It still needs buttons and a little bit of handwork but the hard part has been finished. I think it needs buttons that are larger than an inch and I don't have any in my stash, so I'll need to go shopping. At this point, I think I'll wait until after I've been vaccinated.

This completes my March One Monthly Goal, for the most part. I got really distracted earlier in the month and didn't think I would make it, so I'm pretty relieved.

This also is on my 2021 WOOFA list, so it's nice to be able to cross it off.

Linking up with TuesdayToDo. For next week, I'm hoping to get started cutting out my next quilt. I'm not really sure which one is next; I want to make everything at once. LOL

    1. Yeah, I probably should have done some sort of status report, but it didn't really look like much until I got the sleeves on the coat. And those sleeves were a really struggle to set in. I'm not entirely sure I got them in there right. It was a good learning experience. If he actually wears it, I'll probably make another with better fabric.

  6. Hum, it looks like a great coat from the regency period -- where the men wore many caped coats. My bet is is for roll playing or? Nice job and definitely needs a bigger button than an inch.

    1. We've done a lot of role playing, but not actually regency period (yet). He said he wanted the coat to wear during the winter in Oregon. I think he just liked the cape, so we shall see if he actually wears it. =)
