A blog where I can share the textile projects I create in my craft room.
As January comes to a close, I thought it would be worth looking back at my progress on my RSC projects. I made quite a lot this month.
I made 8 "stained glass" blocks.
Pretty, pretty!! I've never seen that Bloom block before. It's really interesting and will look great in a rainbow of colors. The stained glass blocks are really pretty too!
Thank you. This is my first year participating in RSC and I'm looking forward to watching these quilts grow during the year.
You really got in the red groove!!! Love those stained glass blocks. This is your first year, too?! It looks like your an old pro on this RSC!!! So many blocks & such variety!!!
I'm glad I did a lot of planning before the new RSC year started. I was able to hit the ground running.
You made a lot of blocks for RSC! Congratulations on a great start! I am joining in this year, so I will see you in the RSC neighborhood.
I'll enjoy seeing what projects you come up with.
What great reds!!! I really like those stained glass blocks!!
Thank you. It's been fun to learn a new technique for using scraps.
Lovely blocks all!!! I wish your stained glass was ready to put together, it will be stunning!!!
I'm hoping. It will be fun to see how it grows through the year.
Wow! That's a lot of red scraps.
Yeah, I definitely put a dent in my scraps, but I still have a lot.
Wow! That really IS an awful lot, of all of them! They're all so pretty I could't pick a favorite.
I was really surprised when I counted up my blocks and I made 206 of them in January! Must be a record for me.
great start on your blocks, they are all beautiful
