I worked all weekend and made good progress on my weekly task list. I nearly finished my purple log cabin. Since I decided to custom quilt it, it took a lot longer than I anticipated but now it only needs a label and binding.
Make backing for this log cabin flimsy
On Sunday, I managed to finish quilting one of the Arlington Square flimsies. It also needs to be bound. I am in the process of pre-washing the fabric for the second one.
For this coming week, I would like to:
- Label and bind the Purple Log Cabin quilt.
- Bind the quilted Arlington Square quilt.
- Quilt and bind the 2nd Arlington Square Quilt.
- Start working on my Blue RSC blocks. I kept falling behind last year and I'd prefer to keep up this year.
- Cut out the Aged Elegance bonus crib quilt.
- Figure out Chilhowie fabrics.
Thanks for dropping by. I am linking up with
great quilting on both of your quilts!ReplyDelete
Thanks Pat! I'm really loving my new long arm.Delete
Your purple log cabin looks terrific. I wish I could see your custom quilting better. But what I can see is wonderful. Hope you get your goals for this week done.ReplyDelete
Once I finish the log cabin, I'll take some more detailed photos and post them in their own blog post.Delete
Your Arlington Square is amazing! I'd like to see a close up of the quilting also. Have a good week with all your goals.ReplyDelete
Great quilting on both quilts, Sharon! I really love the purple log cabin quilt! My favorite color. Thanks for linking up with Monday Musings!ReplyDelete
Sharon you made great progress on your list! Getting that lovely purple log cabin custom quilted and one of the Arlington square quilts done, too, is amazing. You have an inspiring list for this week, choosing fabrics and RSC blocks as well as binding. Good luck and happy sewing. Long arming is so much fun when you get to complete your own quilts. Thank you for linking with To Do Tuesday. 😁ReplyDelete
I do like your purple log cabin. I'm predisposed to like lob cabins, but this one seems like an especially pretty one.ReplyDelete
