Morris Garden Almost Finished

I just need to add the mitered border, but the Morris Garden is almost complete! I'm really happy with how this quilt is coming out.
This is the first time I've layered fabrics to cut out kaleidoscope pieces and it's definitely a technique I need to use again.
This is the border fabric I still need to add.

  1. My goodness! You have been busy! The quilt is stunning. It sounds like it was worth the reworking if your construction method. I can’t wait to see it with the borders added.

    1. Yeah, I should have done it right the first time. I was just so worried I would get the kaleidoscopes mixed up but with the design wall it wasn't a problem.

    1. Thanks so much. It actually turned out to be easier than I anticipated, though I almost wish I would make another one using all that I learned to make it even better.

  5. WOW! It's a gorgeous quilt. All the seam ripping and redoing has really paid off.

    1. I agree. I am still trying to decide if I am going to try and do something insane with the border.
